Flappy Bird

Flappy Bird is back

Mobile title returns with multiplayer.

Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen has brought his mobile game back, and it is now available on Android via Amazon Fire (though we can't see it on Google Play yet). This time the game - which is now called Flappy Birds Family - includes a multiplayer feature, as revealed in the product description: "Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends."

Flappy Bird was in the centre of a storm earlier this year when Nguyen pulled the game, and in doing so was on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse. In an interview the following month, the game's creator admitted he was considering bringing the game back, and he's clearly decided now's the time to do it.
