First DS game for Virtual Console is out now

There is little doubt that Nintendo's plan is to make their whole back-catalogue of games available on Virtual Console someday, and while they are still working towards that goal, the service has now taken another big step in the right direction.

The first Nintendo DS game for Virtual Console has just been released in Japan, and the honours went to Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training, which should therefore now be available.

Unfortunately there is still no news as to when we will get to download Nintendo DS games for Wii U over in this part of the world, but we are hoping for an update from Nintendo soon.
