Black Ops 3 LAN esports are coming to Europe this weekend. London is playing host to the EGL Open, the first official Call of Duty World League-sanctioned offline tournament on European soil.
32 teams are participating, with eight of them coming from the CWL Pro division and the remaining 24 from the CWL Challenger division. On the line is a total of $25,000, with $10,000 going to the winner. Teams are also playing for those all important CWL points, helping them qualify for the world championship later in the year.
Team Infused from the UK are favorites to win the whole shebang. Not only are they leading the European CWL Pro division with a 12-3 record, but they're on a nine game winning streak in the league.
The field is not as one-sided as those stats might indicate, though. Also competing are Millenium, who are likewise 12-3 in the league and have won their last three games. Splyce and Epsilon are also looking to make an impact.
The EGL Open starts March 5 and lasts through the weekend. You can follow the action on the EGL Twitch channel
