Firewatch art has been found in Ford's advertising

We've seen companies pay tribute to games before, but these tributes are usually authorised and somewhat related. This is not the case with Ford's latest promotional poster.

Does that tower seem familiar? That's because it's art Olly Moss made for Firewatch. Campo Santo's Sean Vanaman made it clear that they did not authorise Ford's use of this.

Game Informer reached out to Ford's director of marketing, Sean Western, who said that they found this art on the website WideWallpaper.info.

Of course this isn't the first time we've see a thing like this, and it certainly won't be the last. It just shows that distinguishing fair use and copyright infringement is getting continuously harder in today's society where everything is copied and shared on the internet.
