A new Final Fantasy XV trailer has been released just ahead of Tokyo Game Show. It reveals that a multiplayer expansion called Comrades is coming to FFXV on October 31, 2017.

In Comrades, you get to play with up to three other players online. You will create your own avatar, something that you weren't able to do in the main game for obvious reasons. There are multiplayer quests as well as single player missions to allow you to level up your character.

Your team can equip royal sigils, which grant special powers from Lucian bloodline. Equipping powers that work together as a team is crucial. Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis will join as playable characters in future updates of Comrades.

Comrades is included in the season pass, but it is naturally also available as a standalone purchase. And as you might expect, you're going to need PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold in order to play online.

Is co-operative play something you want for Final Fantasy XV?

REVIEW. Written by Jonas Mäki

"It feels like the series should feel, but adapted for a modern audience, and we're so glad that Tabata pulled this massive project together in the way that he did."
