Final Fantasy XV thoroughly reinvigorated the series, and opened it up to a new audience, and with the ever-growing success of the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and Final Fantasy VII: Remake as one of the most anticipated upcoming titles, things are looking up for Square Enix's franchise. That's why updating and releasing Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age made good sense, and it has indeed paid off.

Square Enix have announced via a post on Twitter that the game has shipped one million units, which also accounts for copies sold digitally as well.

To celebrate, they've asked legendary artist Isamu Kamikokuryo to design a new piece of artwork, and you can find it below. Are you impressed with the new design?
