If you're a North American Final Fantasy fan excited for the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster to land on the Nintendo Switch on April 16, we have some important news for you regarding how you'll be getting your copy.
As reported by NintendoSoup, the product page for the game reveals that North American fans will have to settle for getting the games in the physical edition via a download code, which is the same as the European audience too. Southeast Asian copies will have both games on one card however, just like Japan.
"Important information: FINAL FANTASY X HD Remaster available on game card. FINAL FANTASY X-2 HD Remaster game content is download only. Single-use voucher included. Internet connection required. microSD card may be required," the small print on the site reads.
The Japanese version still plays in English though, so you have the choice to get it imported if you really want the game card.
Does it bother you whether a physical version features a download code or game card?
