Final Fantasy VII, the classic RPG and Playstation favourite, is to be re-released on PC "soon."
The re-released title will include a couple of new features including achievements and cloud saves. But the most notable addition is the new Character Booster.
The official site (worth a visit for the FFVII wallpapers, if that's your thing) explains:
"Find yourself stuck on a difficult section or lacking the funds to buy that vital Phoenix Down? With the Character Booster you can increase your HP, MP and Gil levels to their maximum, all with the simple click of a button, leaving you to enjoy your adventure."
Presumably the booster is to help impatient gamers skip past the more ‘grindy' sections of the game.
As yet there are no release details, except to say that Square Enix are taking the unusual step of selling the game exclusively on the Square Enix Store, which seems a like an under-the-radar way of launching such a popular game.
