Rumours keep surfacing as the gaming world has its eyes fixed firmly on Los Angeles and E3. One of the hottest rumours doing the rounds today has been the possible remake of Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII.
According to unspecified sources close to Siliconera, the developer is working on a full Final Fantasy VII reworking. It would feature a modern art style with the characters similar in appearance to the ones in Dissidia Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
According to the source this remake is not the same as the previously announced port of FFVII. The game has apparently been created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII's release on PSOne. If the rumour is accurate we may very well see the reveal at Sony's E3 press conference tomorrow morning, or maybe even during Square's own event the following day.
