The Japanese video game series continues to excel after multiple decades.

And it gets even better as the two Mana games are launching straight on Game Pass.

Square Enix have said they will adopt a multiformat strategy in the future, and it seems like they have already started.

Digital versions of the first six installments of the series will be available for purchase together or separately.

The classic games will get both digital and physical releases on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

At least according to the ESRB ratings.

A 20% discount is now available until September 24.

Users have also been review bombing the first three games in the collection.

Square Enix revealed in a recent Q&A that it could come to consoles if there's demand.

They are said to be receiving a "pixel-perfect makeover."
