It's been a busy few months for Hardsuit Labs as they've been revealing more and more about the sequel to the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. We've seen announcement trailers and a whole bunch of reveals for the respective clans, and now we've finally got the remaining launch clan to round them all off, the Malkavian clan.

The Malkavian's are a strange bunch who can supposedly see and hear all the world wants to hide, possessing knowledge no other clan can comprehend. Whilst they have been ostracised by most of the other clans of Seattle, they are no less potent, using telepathy to their advantage. Such a strong ability does come at a price, however, as the supporters have been known to experience compulsive disorders, psychosis and multiple other illnesses.

This unusual band of misfits can utilise the disciplines of Dementation and Auspex, which were shown in more detail in the reveal trailer. Still, here's a summary of them;

Dementation
- Haunt: sends an unseen spectre into the minds of victims causing them to flee in terror.
- Berserk: fills victims with a deep rage, causing them to lash out at everything nearby to them.
Auspex
- Aura Sense: Allows the vampire to see through walls and mark individuals of interest, even going as far as noticing weaknesses.
- Psychic Projection: Gives the vampire the ability to traverse the world in an astral form where their sense is stronger allowing them to overwhelm others for a short while.

It is worth noting that the usage of Auspex is not a Masquerade violation at all, whereas the use of Dementation is frowned upon, be it legal.

Previously announced and joining the Malkavian clan will be the Brujah, a clan of tough outcasts, who show physical dominance over the others in the title. Second to be revealed was the Tremere, a group of warlocks who gained immortality through a hefty price. Third of all was the Toreador, a hedonistic group of artists and poets. Finally, the fourth clan to be announced was the Ventrue, who consist of Seattle's aristocratic elite.

Which clan will you be joining?
