He's also returning to football games as an Ultimate Team Icon, joining the likes of Didier Drogba and Ian Wright.

Earlier this month we reported that Eden Hazard and Virgil van Dijk would be featured as the cover stars of FIFA 20's Standard and Champions Editions respectively, and now EA has revealed that Zinedine Zidane is coming back not only as an Icon player in FIFA 20's Ultimate Team, but also as the cover star of the Ultimate Edition.

He joins other icons like Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba, Ian Wright, and Ronald Koeman, and you can find out more details about the Ultimate Edition right here, where we also read that his return to football video games is "exclusively in FIFA 20 as a FIFA Ultimate Team Icon". This presumably means that Konami's eFootball PES 2020 won't feature the French player, although this won't be quite as much of a blow as Konami securing exclusive rights to Juventus' name, kit, and crest.

Of course these days we aren't used to seeing Zidane as a player, since he's currently the Real Madrid manager once more, managing Standard Edition cover star Eden Hazard and hoping to replicate his success in the Champions League once again.

Will you get this edition now?
