FIFA 20 demo lands today

Electronic Arts has also confirmed the top 100 players, and Messi has overtaken Ronaldo this time around.

EA usually releases a demo of each year's iteration of FIFA a week or two before the game launches, so we weren't alone in believing last week's rumours of the FIFA 20 demo coming this Tuesday. Now we have the confirmation of that and more.

FIFA 20 will indeed get a demo today on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This will let us play as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Tottenham, and more as we try out the new Volta mode and 11v11 Kick-Off.

Some of you will probably play the demo with or against friends, so it's rather fitting that the 100 highest-ranked players in FIFA 20 have been confirmed as well. This year's list actually includes a few ranking that might surprise some of you, and perhaps the one that will probably lead to the most heated discussions is that Lionel Messi stands alone as the highest-rated player, with Cristiano Ronaldo sitting in second place with one less point than the Argentinian. You can see the top 10 down below and the top 100 here.

  1. Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona with 94

  2. Cristiano Ronaldo, Piemonte Calcio aka Juventus with 93

  3. Neymar Jr., PSG with 92

  4. Eden Hazard, Real Madrid with 91

  5. Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City with 91

  6. Jan Oblak, Atlético de Madrid with 91

  7. Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool with 90

  8. Mohamed Salah, Liverpool with 90

  9. Luka Modric, Real Madrid with 90

  10. Marc-André ter Stegen, FC Barcelona with 90

Will you play the demo, and what do you think about the ratings?
