The illegal sale and exchange of FUT currency is one of the main problems of FIFA Ultimate Team, according to EA Sports, which announced new measures that intend to make the life easier for the player and reduce chances of cheating. First, the return of the FUT market to the mobile apps and internet browsers. This means you can sell and buy players without accessing the game, as was previously possible in FIFA 15 (prior to the feature being shut down).
However, those who have never registered in FUT, will only be able to access the mobile market after several days of FIFA 16 gaming, either on console or PC, to prevent automatic programs from invading the market. Meanwhile, EA Sports promises greater variation and more flexible price ranges when selling players.
Finally, EA Sports revealed it will split consoles markets by generation. This means that coins, items, players and other market accessories can no longer be shared or traded between PS3 and PS4 or Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Players will have to choose a platform for each FUT account, but those who already have an account since FIFA 15 or earlier, can enjoy a one-time transfer between consoles.
FIFA 16 will be released on September 24 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
