FIFA 14 World Cup update coming online

New modes hitting different platforms today.

The new World Cup-themed modes for FIFA 14 should be coming online today, with FIFA community manager Rob Hodson confirming as much on Twitter.

Word is that the update - which includes FUT World Cup and the friendly international Kick-off modes - is coming today in full on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The online part of the Kick-off mode doesn't seem to be currently available, although local play is accessible. It's said to be the same on old-gen and PC (we checked Xbox One), but with no changes to the menu until the live part of the update is available.

Hodson confirms there'll be an update on the online side of things by 7pm tonight, and a Tweet by Sony also points to a full launch later today.
