The Call of Duty World League (CWL) playoffs for Stage One have just wrapped up, and after the dust had settled FaZe Clan stood as victors over the rest, beating OpTic Gaming in the finals yesterday to lift the trophy and join the big names like Team Kaliber, Rise Nation, and Luminosity Gaming as winners this season.

It didn't all go quite to plan though, as a loss to Kaliber earlier on meant that they had to escape the loser's bracket to make the comeback possible, defeating Kaliber yet again to make sure they could face OpTic in the grand final, and even then it looked as if OpTic would win it at times.

FaZe's ZooMaa won the MVP for the competition as well, so all in all it was a successful event for the team, while OpTic are still looking for their first major tournament win in Call of Duty: WWII. Are FaZe Clan one of the teams to fear?

REVIEW. Written by Ford James

"The campaign is phenomenal, and the Zombies mode is probably the best it's ever been."
