Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon leaked online

Over the Easter holidays (and right around April 1) the first details of something called Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon leaked out onto the web. At first glance it looked absurd and bizarre, so much so that many just interpreted it as a joke.

But there have been more leaks since then, and now a series of images from the game has appeared on Xbox.com.

The pictures show neon colors, laboratories and huge missiles, and similar things that don't appear to have the faintest thing to with Far Cry 3.

There are no official announcements from Ubisoft yet, so is it a Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare-like extension? Or a completely new game that leans towards the Far Cry 3 name? We just don't know yet.

The Australian musician PowerGlove has added a series of numbers on its SoundCloud page, adorned with the logo from Blood Dragon. The musical numbers offer some of the tastiest, most sinister '80s synth we've heard since Hotline Miami, so here in the office we cross fingers that they are actually part of the game's soundtrack.
