Metroid: Samus Returns is the upcoming 3DS title developed collaboratively by Mercury Steam (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow) and Nintendo, releasing September 15th. It is a reimagining of the 1991 Game Boy classic Metroid II: Return of Samus with the same story, controls and structure. Earlier this morning Gamereactor got a hold of the first official artwork for the game, check them out below:
