After having recreated certain scenes from the original Metal Gear Solid with Unreal Engine 4, a team of modders lead by Airam Hernandez, were inspired to try and recreate the whole game using Epic's engine. Everything seemed to be going well, and a big announcement was prepared for March 14. But as it turns out this won't happen and the project has been cancelled.
The team posted the following message on their Facebook page:
"Hi guys!
We have an important announcement to make today:
We have to cancel the Shadow Moses Project for reasons beyond our control.
We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support we have received.
Shadow Moses team."
It doesn't take a genius to realise that the team may have met with some legal difficulties beyond their control...
