Fallout: New Vegas remaster hopes sparked again as developer teases loading screen

Iron Galaxy, the studio behind numerous ports (including a couple of Bethesda ones), seems to have all but confirmed it's working on something Fallout-related.

With Fallout having such a big success on Amazon Prime Video, a lot of fans had hoped the show's enormous hype would lead to perhaps a remaster of an old classic. With Fallout 5 years away still, a remaster or remake is all we can hope for, in the vein of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Via GamesRadar, developer Iron Galaxy gave us some hope for such a remaster recently with a LinkedIn post. "Today's our February company meeting. It's time to catch up with what the company's been up to and what's coming up next for IG," reads the post, which includes a picture of a monitor with the New Vegas loading screen.

That sounds like a pretty clear-cut hint of what IG is working on, but considering how many times the Fallout: New Vegas remaster has been confirmed, teased, or promised, it's hard to believe that we can say it's coming until it has been officially revealed. After all, last time we saw a countdown for what everyone thought was a remaster, it was just a 15th anniversary edition of the original game.
