Did someone tell Sony it already released an extraction shooter this year?

After the collapse of Concord and the messy state of Marathon, all eyes are now on Haven Studios and their troubled project Fairgames.

An analyst sent the internet into a panic over the weekend as it was claimed Sony's live-service title Fairgames had been cancelled.

This is the studio she founded herself, and that is currently developing a title called Fairgames.

Is Sony backing down from their previous live-service push?

Apparently the game is perceived quite well internally.
