Fable Legends will be online for another month

Yesterday we learned that Microsoft has closed Lionhead Studios and cancelled their current project, Fable Legends. However, it seems that the death of the Xbox One exclusive won't be a sudden one. According to Gameinformer, players enjoying the beta version of Fable Legends have been told that the game servers will only be closed on April 13.

This means that they can continue to play for a little over a month, although all Gold sales have been cancelled. Players who have invested money in the game to purchase items can also be reimbursed, and apparently Lionhead Studios will send an email to these players over the next few days explaining how they can get their money back.
