It has been revealed that for the upcoming third round of the Le Mans Virtual Series, which will be seeing teams and drivers heading to Spa-Francorchamps for a six-hour long endurance race, that the current reigning two-time Formula 1 World Champion, Max Verstappen, will be competing as part of the Team Redline LMP squad.

The race itself, which will be held this weekend, on November 5, will be played on the rFactor 2 platform and will see teams starting at 12:30 GMT / 13:30 CET and then racing for a full six hours in an attempt to both secure victory but also some more points for the full and ongoing series.

Interestingly enough, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Verstappen's actual F1 team, will be competing in the race itself as well, just in a different category, hence why he isn't representing the organisation that he has won multiple world titles with.

The qualifying for the race will be held tomorrow, November 4, and you can catch that and the actual race right here.
