Extremely strong Wii U pre-orders

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime remains bullish about the prospects of the upcoming Wii U in spite of a more expensive product than anticipated. In an interview with Games Industry, Fils-Aime reveals strong retailer interest.

"We have a number of retailers taking pre-orders and the feedback that I'm getting from retailers is extremely strong in terms of pre-sales and consumer excitement at the store.", says Fils-Aime.

Early indications are that Wii U will be scarce at launch, so it may be a good idea to get your pre-order in as soon as possible.
