Two years ago, Netflix started adding video games to their subscription service, and since then they have bought developers and started adding more titles at a pretty rapid pace. Today, there are 77 game included with your Netflix subscription, but it seems like the actual users couldn't care less.

As reported by CNBC, only an average of 2.2 million users are playing daily, with a total of 70.5 million downloads. While this might sound massive, it means that less than 1% of Netflix's 247.15 million subscribers are playing their games. Netflix isn't worried though and claims this is all according to plan, and Co-CEO Greg Peters said this during the latest earnings call:

"This trajectory is not dissimilar from what we've seen before. When we've launched a new region — or when we launched new genres, like unscripted we had to crawl, walk, run, but we see a tremendous amount of opportunity to build a long-term center value of entertainment."

Have you played any video games via Netflix, and do you think it will be a success eventually - or is it just a waste of money that increases the monthly fee?
