Experience Super Smash Bros. Ultimate using Labo VR

The newest update adds compatibility for the VR headset, following on from Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda doing the same thing.

Nintendo Labo started out by offering cardboard sets like motorbikes and fishing rods, but the recent VR kit delivers a sort of headset to experience the Switch in a whole new way, something that has already worked in combination with Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Now it'll work with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate too, as Nintendo of Europe revealed on Twitter. After you download the 3.1.0 update, the 'Games & More' menu will feature a VR option, letting you experience single-player offline gameplay with the VR goggles. The tweet even shows a short video giving you a taste of what's included.

That's not all that's coming with 3.1.0 though, as you can send your Amiibo figure players to test their skills against other figure players online. You can also use them in battle arenas, when you're not toying around with the VR headset.

Are you a fan of Labo VR?
