In an exclusive interview with Gamereactor at the end of last year, Rockfish Games' Michael Schade made clear that the studio's successful space roguelike, Everspace (which is already available on PC and Xbox One), was about to land on PlayStation 4. The new release was to include all of its DLC, and there were also plans for an alternative physical version, the latter in collaboration with a soon-to-be-announced publisher. Both moves have now been detailed and dated.

Everspace will launch on both the PS Store and a retailer near you on May 29 - slightly later than expected. Digitally, the base game will be sold for 29.99 euro, whereas the Encounters DLC will cost 9.99 euro. In a digital bundle, both will release for 34.99 euro.

If you want the boxed disc, it's been confirmed that BadLand Games will be publishing this edition on the same date, for 39.99 euro (we'll update you with GBP prices as soon as we have them). It'll be called Everspace: Galactic Edition, and other than the game and the DLC, it'll include the original soundtrack and "a color-printed booklet featuring the studio's history and the making of the game", according to Rockfish Games.

Schade confirms the physical version will retail "all across Europe and America", while BadLand Games CEO Luis Quintáns admits being "delighted" to distribute the "addictive space shooter".
