Everspace Encounters available on Steam

German developer Rockfish Games has published Encounters, the first expansion for their space roguelike Everspace since it launched fully in May of this year. Encounters is available now on Steam while Xbox One owners will have to wait a little longer.

As you'd expect from an expansion in this genre Encounters adds new content to pretty much every area of the game, including "a new player ship, new gear, all-new factory space stations, additional locations, and new story characters with individual questlines".

Encounters will set you back £6.99 ($9.99/€9.99) if you already own the game, but you can also pick up the Ultimate Edition that includes the Deluxe Edition of the game, Encounters and the soundtrack that's currently 25% off (£27.72).
