We're only a week away from the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2021 that will be taking place in Reykjavik, Iceland. To mark the immediacy of the tournament, Pentanet.GG, the current LCO (League of Legends Circuit Oceania) champions has announced that it has signed Diana "DSN" Nguyen to the team as a substitute support. This addition of DSN does actually mark history, as she becomes the first female player to ever attend an MSI.

"Competitive league of legends is what inspired me to start playing in season 3," said DSN in a tweet. "So when I was offered an opportunity to be part of the competitive scene as well as be on a team alongside my friends, I couldn't refuse."

MSI is set to begin in a week, on May 6 with group stages. Pentanet.GG will first face Unicorns of Love, the current LCL champions as it looks to work its way through the group. You can catch all of the action for the series over here, on the LoL Esports Twitch channel.
