Cloud9 has signed a second Valorant roster, consisting of all-female players. Known as Cloud9 White, the team will be the sister roster to Cloud9 Blue, which features the all-male team and will look to compete in as many major events as possible in the male-dominated esports scene.

Cloud9 White's roster consists of; Alexis "alexis" Guarrasi, Annie "AnnieDro" Roberts, Jasmine "Jazzyk1ns" Manankil, Melanie "meL" Capone, and "katsumi." To further broaden the team's outreach, AT&T has expanded their deal with C9 to accompany a presenting partnership for Cloud9 White.

C9 isn't the first team to start an all-female roster, with Dignitas and Counter Logic Gaming fielding teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Valorant also. However, those teams usually compete in female only events, whereas Cloud9 White is looking to compete in the male esports scene alongside Cloud9 Blue, making them a true sister team in the Valorant competitive scene.

Due to the recency of the announcement, Cloud9 White hasn't revealed the first tournament they intend to compete over, but with the soon to begin First Strike event coming up, there is a large chance the team makes their debut in this expanded tournament.
