League of Legends' 2020 season starts January 10

A recent tweet teased the imminent start, kicking off another year for Riot Games' popular title.

Riot Games has their hands busy right now with League of Legends and their various other ventures, and perhaps their biggest concern is esports, with each year seeing several leagues and competitions take place across the globe.

League of Legends is one of the most popular esports because of this, and now a new tweet has teased the start of the 2020 season for the game on January 10, along with the tagline "we break them".

This is the season that regular players should pay attention to, and January 8 is the date you'll get a patch before the season starts, which is when you can try for a new rank. This should get you ready for when the other competitions begin, showing the pros in action.

Are you ready for the new season?
