FIFA 20 Global Series signups leak player data

Around 1,600 players trying to sign up for the competition series were affected before the issue was fixed by EA.

EA has only just opened registration for the Global Series tournament circuit, but a statement on Twitter has revealed that there have been serious issues, as signing up enabled players to see the personal info of those that previously did so, including username, date of birth, and email address.

The site was subsequently taken offline and the issue fixed, with EA saying they're "confident" that it won't occur again. They estimate around 1,600 players were affected, and they're taking steps to ensure their EA accounts are protected, apologising for the incident.
