SK Telecom T1 is a Korean League of Legends team with a lot of success in the world of esports, but in the last year or so they've struggled to reproduce the same results at times. During the LCK's summer playoffs, however, they managed to win it all to deliver the goods.
In the regular season they sat fourth in the table with 11 wins and seven losses, but in the playoffs they defeated Afreeca Freecs 2-1 before then taking down Sandbox Gaming 3-0. After beating Damwon Gaming by the same margin they set up a match with top team Griffin, winning 3-1 to lift the trophy.
