Astralis is a team known for their huge success in the field of CS:GO, and it turns out that this has impressed even the Danish government, since Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has called the players "role models" in a recent video.

"Lots of youngsters are into gaming," Rasmussen said in a video clip provided to Motherboard. "According to statistics, I think it's 96 percent of all Danish boys [are] playing at least twice a week. And they are in the cellars and the rooms behind closed doors and parents are thinking, 'What are they actually doing?' [Parents] can look at Astralis and see that gaming is about meeting people in real life. It's about good sleeping habits [and] nutrition. It's about physical activity."

These comments came after he played some rounds of CS:GO with the Astralis players, who have won many tournaments over the last few years, including plenty of championships in 2018. Player Lukas 'Gla1ve' Rossander also told Motherboard that Rasmussen spent two hours chatting with the team as well.
