According to several sources and reported by Dexerto, North American esports organisation Team Envy is looking to recruit Finn 'Karrigan' Andersen to be a permanent player on the active roster. After playing for Envy at the American Minor in January whilst on loan from FaZe, the organisation seemed to be impressed with the veteran Counter-Strike player and are now supposedly pushing to obtain him permanently.

Also reported was the figurative buyout price for the player which is set to be at least $150,000 USD. This number is simply so that FaZe will release Karrigan, and he then must agree with the organisation about contracts and his own salary.

With Karrigan on their roster Envy came close to qualifying for the IEM Katowice Major, narrowly missing it after finishing third place in the American Minor. Later on, they also came close to qualifying for IEM Sydney, losing their spot to Ghost Gaming 2-0 in the qualifier.

With Karrigan as a permanent addition, Envy may just obtain the leadership and expertise required to push them to be a more formidable team and potentially achieve some better results in the future.

Do you think Envy will start to show signs of greatness with Karrigan on the active roster?
