Here at Gamereactor we've been getting involved with competitive CS:GO, as we hosted a Nordic tournament not too long ago in which Team NoFun impressed and took the win. We caught up with the team to hear what they had to say about their time in the league, as we spoke to team captain Scruul.
How have you prepared for the competition, and what has your training been like?
We prepared by normal practicing. We decided a couple of maps we wanted to focus on and banned the others at veto. Our training has not been anything out of the ordinary. We talked about setups, strats, timings etc. and then put in the hours to make it work.
What is your key to success as a team?
Thats a tough question. I think it's because we really have fun when we play, we like to shoot headshots and we agree about most stuff.
What is your team chemistry like?
It's great. We all have the same humour and everyone is easy to work with.
Where do you need to improve as a team?
Our communication and timings. In the heat of the battle it's easy to forget that you need to communicate everything that's happening.
What will you be using your prize money on?
I can only talk for myself, but I will save it so I can buy an apartment in the future.
Below you can see Scruul playing in the League of Schools tournament, where the team also impressed.
