PSG.LGD and Virtus.Pro proved troublesome, but they bounced back multiple times to prove why they're contenders.

Already this year we've had a lot of Dota 2 action to talk about, as earlier this month EHOME became the Bucharest Minor champions, and now the Chongqing Major has wrapped up with Team Secret emerging as victors to claim the $350,000 USD first place prize and of course 4,950 of the precious Dota Pro Circuit points.

Despite their eventual victory they actually came second in their group behind PSG.LGD, losing 2-0 to the first-place team to give them a 2-1 record. They also faltered in the upper bracket as well, following their wins against Team Liquid and EHOME with a loss against Virtus.Pro.

Once they had beaten Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket though they set up a rematch with Virtus.Pro in the final, getting two early map wins. Virtus.Pro had a hard-fought third map though to claim a precious point back, but Secret once again won on the fourth map to claim the victory for themselves.

Are you shocked by Secret's win?
