Here at Gamereactor we've been getting involved with competitive CS:GO, as we hosted a tournament not too long ago in which Team ENLE and Team hold_hurtig impressed, and we've actually caught up with both teams to hear what they had to say about their time in the league.

Team ENLE reached second place in the second division and we spoke with captain Gabe about the team.

How have you prepared for the competition, and what has your training been like?

We played about three, four games together as a full team, not counting the games in season 1. So I guess you could say we didn't really practice a lot. We went with things that worked in previous matches and what we felt good with.

What is your key to success as a team?

Our key to success as a team is a non-toxic environment, hyping each other up and cheering for our teammates. When making a mistake we managed to stay cool and frag hard the next rounds. Of course you have to shoot heads, but our mentality was good during all the matches.

What is your team chemistry like?

The team chemistry has been surprisingly good, taking into consideration that we basically didn't know each other. [We have] two new additions to the team - K1NG_EZO, the 3k IQ IGL and heavy fragger, [and] Arttuk, our young, up and coming, young shooter [that has] heavy impact on the fragging as well.

Where do you need to improve as a team?

We should improve our communication and staying calm when the odds aren't on our side.

Team hold_hurtig's Lage also spoke to us, after they reached first place in the second division in Season 1.

How have you prepared for the competition, and what has your training been like?

Since we do not really practice a whole lot, you would maybe want other teams to answer the questions instead, as they might be a more "professional" team. However, we try to play as much together as possible balancing work, studies, social life and gaming. This means that sometimes we play a lot together and some weeks are more or less impossible to get the practice going.

What is your key to success as a team?

Our approach to practice is to discuss different setups, tactics and positions and then just get
to play as many pugs, scrims and matches as possible to increase our level as a team.

What is your team chemistry like?

The chemistry is good as we are all friends and every person on the team wants to play with the four other guys.

Where do you need to improve as a team?

The thing we can improve the most is probably putting more hours into the game to sharpen our aim and everything else. But as mentioned before, we are not full time on this as we need to have a steady income from jobs and studies so we can pay rent and other daily expenses.
