The Intel Extreme Masters has just wrapped up its Chicago event, with Astralis taking home the trophy, but ESL has announced that IEM Sydney is heading our way in 2019 too, celebrating three years of CS:GO in Australia between May 3 and 5.

The official website has all the details, and the event will be held at the Qudos Bank Arena, where $250,000 USD will be fought over by 16 teams. It's also a part of the Intel Grand Slam, where teams can win $1 million by claiming victory in four specific events.

IEM has had successful events in Sydney in 2017 and 2018, so this should be just as good. Will you be attending?
