This weekend FaZe Clan brushed aside all-comers to take home the grand prize and be named the new CS:GO champions at Moscow-based Epicenter 2018, cleaning out Natus Vincere with a straight 2-0 win in the best-of-three grand final.

Na'Vi, who got to the final via Avangar in the first semi, came up against FaZe Clan after their opponents took down Team Liquid in the second semi (also 2-0). The first game played out on Mirage (FaZe's pick) and saw Na'Vi work their way back into the game after offering up the early initiative to FaZe. It was to no avail, though, as the game ended 16-12 to FaZe, this despite good form from Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev with 24-kills.

However, with Nikola "NiKo" Kovac playing a blinder across the whole weekend, Na'Vi picked Dust2 for what would be the final game of the competition. FaZe wasn't in the mood to take it to a third match, and after putting up a little resistance at the start of the game, Na'Vi were swept aside as FaZe recorded a 16-3 victory and claimed the $150k grand prize.
