Beyond the Summit has revealed when the third iteration of their CS_Summit tournament is taking place, as a tweet not only revealed that we'd be seeing the competition from November 1 to 4, but we also now know all eight teams competing for the $150,000 USD prize pool.

G2 Esports, BIG, CompLexity, Ghost Gaming, Kinguin, NRG Esports, Heroic, and OpTic Gaming will be at the event, and when asked why other big names like Cloud9 and MIBR weren't there, Beyond the Summit CEO David 'LD' Gorman said:

"Between EPL, ECS, & the endless slog of LANs, the whole year is insanely crowded in the CS:GO calendar. We were originally scheduled for the same week Starladder ended up on, but we ended up having to move due to the conflict."

"Would we love to have the top 5 HLTV ranked teams at every one of our events? Sure! But scheduling them is pretty difficult, because they prioritize the major online leagues and usually have direct invites to every other LAN."

Will you be tuning in?
