This past week saw the PUBG Global Invitational take place in Berlin's Mercedes-Benz Arena, and after all the dust had settled it was the teams Oh My God and Gen.G Gold that emerged victorious, winning the First Person Perspective and Third Person Perspective tournaments respectively.

Each team won $400,000 USD for their troubles (the entire prize pool as $2 million), and the event even hosted a Charity Showdown featuring figures like Ninja and Dr DisRespect, so there was plenty to see throughout the week.

This tournament once again demonstrated that top teams aren't guaranteed success in the battle royale space, as Team Liquid came in second above NaVi and Ghost Gaming in the FPP side of things, finishing in the exact same place in the TPP competition as well.

Did you think the event was a success?
