There have been many rumours regarding the player.

At the end of last month we reported that League of Legends team 100 Thieves had benched William 'Meteos' Hartman and Kim 'Ssumday' Chan-ho, but since then there have been a lot of rumours regarding Meteos going to FlyQuest, especially since the player himself tweeted this was the case before deleting it.

Now 100 Thieves has released an official statement on the matter to clear things up, saying that Meteos himself asked for permission to be traded, and that they'd talked to Meteos before the trade, which he then talked about on social media. Even Meteos himself realises there's been some confusion, having the following to say on Twitter:

"I'll probably make a video later tonight about my perspective on the situation. There seems to be quite a bit of misinformation regarding myself that I'd like to address."

Either way, the transfer to FlyQuest is now official, where he will "compete for a spot on the starting roster", and as part of the deal Andy 'AnDa' Hoang has been traded to 100 Thieves, which should hopefully improve their fortunes, as their performance so far this Summer Split hasn't been ideal.

Do you like Meteos as a player?
