Esports organisation Immortals has announced that it has acquired the Brazilian brand known as MIBR, as well as revealing new partnerships with Tinder and Betway, but perhaps the most noteworthy announcement is that of the new CS:GO roster under the MIBR brand, consisting of ex-SK talent.

Ricardo 'Boltz' Prass; Marcelo 'Coldzera' David; Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo; Fernando 'Fer' Alvarenga; and Jacky 'Stewie2K' Yip are all a part of this team, as well as their coach Ricardo 'Dead' Sinigaglia, with the general manager for the roster being Tomi 'Lurppis' Kovanen. All of these players will be moving to Los Angeles to train at the Immortals campus, and will compete at the ESL One Cologne competition from July 3 to 8.

"Brazil is incredibly passionate about esports, and this acquisition allows us to foster further
esports growth in what we believe is still a relatively untapped market in Brazil and throughout
South America," said Noah Whinston, CEO of Immortals and MIBR. "The MIBR brand creates
a direct link to Brazil's national pride and sports and entertainment culture. We are eager to
invest in the Brazilian esports scene and to create a platform for the region's amazing
professional esports talent to continue to excel and dominate."

MIBR will be working alongside Tinder to promote CS:GO in Brazil and host activations, with Tinder Plus and Gold users receiving special offers, including a chance to meet the team, as well as VIP parties, merchandise, and more.

Do you think this team can perform well under the MIBR banner?
