Esports organisation Godsent has released a TwitLonger post with an announcement about their CS:GO team, and it's bad news for fans of the roster, as they've revealed that they'll no longer be competing in the esports scene for Valve's shooter, marking the end of a two year journey.

"Today is a bitter-sweet day. On one hand we are happy to be able to look back and proudly say we believe we have achieved something special within the beautiful game of CS:GO and its scene," the announcement reads. "We have brought up uprising Swedish talent that is currently playing in the maximum level of CSGO. We have left our small footprint inside the game for the history books, and we have contributed in shaping the current Swedish scene . On the other hand, we feel that Godsent will always be our baby, our passion, so it is sad knowing we have to let it go for now."

The decision was taken by all parties involved with Godsent, and is claimed to be the "best solution for everyone involved." In the post Godsent thanks Rfrsh for their assistance, as well as the fans for their continued support.

Will you miss them?
