Earlier this year we found out that esports organiser PGL would be hosting an Invitational competition for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds this month, and now a new press release has confirmed the full team list and talent line-up for the competition, running between March 22 and 25.

The qualifiers have now wrapped up and invitations have been sent, meaning that all 16 teams that will be battling it out for their share of $100,000 USD at the PGL Studios in Bucharest are locked down. The invited teams were as follows:

  • LGD (China)

  • OMG (China)

  • Snake TC (China)

  • TSM (NA)

  • Ghost Gaming (NA)

  • Vitality (EU)

  • Kinguin (EU)

  • Sunsister's Suiciders (Japan)

  • Tainted Minds (Australia)

  • OGN Entus ACE (South Korea)

  • MVP (South Korea)

Aside from these 11 teams five had to compete in regional qualifiers, under the management of GLL (Global Loot League) in Europe, North, and South America. FaZe Clan and Grubie were the teams from Europe, while SSG and eUnited made it from North America, with Team Secret coming from South America.

That's not all the good news though, as we also know that Mike 'Porosaurus' Navarro will host the English-speaking side of the competition, joined by analysts Jakub 'Lothar' Szygulski and Martin 'Avnqr' Gøth, as well as casters Toby 'TobiWan' Dawson, Bogdan 'Boogie' Carp, Cameron Davis, and Derek 'WTFMoses' Moseley. We can't forget Jacob 'SirActionSlacks' Kanner either, as he'll be an interviewer for the event too.

We'll be getting a complete schedule for the Invitational soon, but right now it's shaping up to be a great event. Do you agree?
