Last year the finals of the ESL Pro League CS:GO competition for Season 6 were held in Odense, Denmark, and now we know where the finals of Season 7 will be held, as organiser ESL has revealed that Dallas will once again host the $1 million USD competition in May.

The competition finals will run from May 18 to 20 and will see 16 teams compete for the title and the winner's share of the prize pool at the Verizon Theatre. Prior to these three days of the main event - where two quarter finals, two semi finals, and the grand final will be held - there will be three days of group stages to whittle down the teams, and as a reminder, this will be the first Pro League finals event streamed as part of ESL's exclusivity deal with Facebook.

"With a couple of interesting new lineups forming and the superstars returning, this season will be very exciting to watch," said Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of Product at ESL. "Building off of the record-breaking year in Season Six, we aim to create the best CS:GO experience for Pro League fans both in attendance and online."

There was a 95% growth in concurrent viewers with the Season 6 finals compared to Season 5 (also held in Dallas), so it seems like this could be even bigger. For more on the event though head to the official website, where you can get tickets starting from 18:00 CET on February 23.

Do you think Dallas is a good place to return to?
