Stage 2 of the Overwatch League is almost upon us, and Blizzard has prepared a mix of maps that should keep the second round of competitive games feeling fresh. It's a case of out with the old and in with the new as Hanamura, Hollywood, King's Row, Nepal, Route 66, Volskaya Industries and Watchpoint: Gibraltar are all set to feature in the coming days, with the action due to start on Wednesday (technically Thursday morning thanks to the time difference) with Seoul Dynasty kicking things off again Los Angeles Valiant at 12:00am GMT on Thursday. For the full schedule of matches hit this link.

There's a lot going on beyond the swapping of maps, which in itself will change things up immeasurably. For starters, Mercy was recently nerfed as part of a recent patch, and it's this build that teams will be playing, so expect the meta to adjust in relation to the changes. Similarly the teams will also feel a little different, with a number of roster changes taking place since the end of Stage 1, with the most notable being a major overhaul for the Shanghai Dragons (more on that here).

It's all to play for, then, so stay tuned to Gamereactor in the coming days for more on Stage 2 of the Overwatch League.
