CS:GO has a big following in many countries, including China, and according to a recent report by Perfect World (the publisher of the game in China, with the report coming via The Dot Esports), a big arrest has been made in the country revolving around cheats in the game.

The creator of CS:GO Daniel cheat, called Mr. Pan, was allegedly arrested in Jiangsu Province for his role in making and profiting from the cheat. Perfect World found and reported him to the police themselves, and according to them Pan broke national security and criminal laws.

4,275 Perfect World accounts were permanently banned ones the cheat was detected, and Pan himself is awaiting a harsher punishment, as he could face up to 15 years in prison, as well as being fined five times the amount of revenue he earned from the cheat, although we don't know how much that is.
