The Overwatch League will be starting later this year, which is exciting for fans of Overwatch esports, however, a recent report by ESPN claims that one team will not be competing, and that's Team Liquid, who are in fact going to drop their Overwatch team altogether, if this report is to be believed.

ESPN claims that sources close to the organisation, as well as team members, have provided this information, which also allegedly reveals that the team is looking to sell its spot in Blizzard's Overwatch Contenders competition, the second season of which starts on August 14.

Some players will allegedly compete in other games, too, with Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson, Andrew 'id_' Trulli, and Tim 'DaHanG' Fogarty already confirmed to be playing for Team Liquid in Quake Champions at QuakeCon, taking place later this month.

Should the players find other Overwatch teams, or move onto different games?
